Would I apray a burst of Olympic White on the bare wood and them stain with yellow dye over top of all of the body? That's the only way I can think to do it. Any suggestions?

Ive used the duplicolor grabber green before. I used it on a warlock I had lying around and it worked fine.
That's the color. Grabber Green. I'm concerned about spraying regular Duplicolor lacquer over it, though.

This will be my first refinish, so please bear with my beginner question. I'm looking to paint with a base of lime green and do primary colors over top of the base with a stencil pattern. The only lime green I've found thus far is Duplicolor Engine Enamel. I picked up some regular Duplicolor for the primary colors. I've read on this forum that I can spray laquer over enamel, but I'm concerned about Engine Enamel, specifically. It says on the label that the paint contains ceramics and I'm not sure if that will adversely affect anything, or not. If this won't work, does anyone know of any spray lime green laquers that are easy to obtain?

But how would I get that translucent center? Is there some kind of tutorial on doing a burst similar to this one?
