  1. Bigd maybe in the future we could work out some sort of barter. You know, planing and sanding in exchange for CNC. That is if you don't have a cnc of your own by time I get things sorted out here.
  2. That looks awsome. How did you get the fabric to lay on that carved top without bunching and wrinkeling. Nice work with the binding as well.
  3. When you use the waterbased dyes like that, Can you cover up what you didn't use and save it? Or is it a just mix up what you need kind of situation? P.S. Cudbucket, your guitar is looking sweet.
  4. Wigglez? Your real name isn't Murray, is it? You might have to have little kids to get that.
  5. All Access Neck Joint. I had to ask about a month ago also.
  6. That traveller looks pretty cool, but what is the purpose of the opening and closing wings?
  7. I've searched the forum and it looks like everyone who has used the golden age pups likes them, but no one compares them to a higher priced pup. So my question is: is the jb jazz combo worth $60 more the the Golden Age overwound-regular combo? I am definitely on a budget for this project, but I don't want to sacrifice in the tone area. But if the Golden Age pups sound as good it would be a great place to save some cash.
  8. Looks pretty cool. I really dig the bocote fingerboard and curved shape at the end of the fingerboard.
  9. If you read back a ways, he says he screwed up and routed to deep.
  10. Cool. Thanks ooten2 for the review. I'll have to keep watchin' the bay for him to have some more pieces. Now that I have some money, he doesn't have any listings.
  11. Man, that is just insane. I feel like I'm watching Finding Nemo with my kids.
  12. Craig, I am familiar with corian in the context of countertops, but where do you get thin pieces for inlay?
  13. Is this the same Donald doing the archtop on a cnc over on the MIMF?
  14. like I said alot of it is import from china. But I haven't found anyone that could touch those cutter prices. I work in a tool and die shop, and have used some of their precision measuring tools as well. They are dead on. And at $15 (for say a 6" caliper) who cares if you drop them.
  15. Just wondered where you got the binding for the body?
  16. Hey Jay5, I believe you are in the states. Right? Check this place out CME Tools I use these endmills in my work every day. I don't think you can find a better price on solid micrograin carbide cutters. They are USA made and I have had great success with them. This place is in or around Detoit and I am in Grand Rapids, MI. If i phone in my order I always recieve it the next day, YMMV depending on where you live.
  17. Hey Mushy, I live in Grand Rapids. We are starting to get a mid west gang here. Maybe we will have to rumble with Drak and the Maryland gang
  18. I've read some reviews of those. They are supposed to be really good for the money.
  19. Erikbojerik, Rather than glue the paper directly to the drum and make a huge mess, Just glue your higher grit papers over a used up sanding sleeve. Once you wear out a 150 grit sleeve just glue you 1000 or whatever over that.
