  1. Yeah, there's several very old threads that you've been bumping Smitty, why?
  2. I can only dream of making guitars that look that good they're made by Ken Lawrence
  3. Ahhh I thought you'd read that I was thinking about a Mighty Mite LP neck for my Classical Hybrid! I've sent you a PM Setch
  4. Sorry Matt no pics of the chambering I'm afraid, I wish I'd routed some bigger chambers now, it's still quite heavy ....but I'm thinking about using this bridge... http://www.lrbaggs.com/html/products/pickups_tbridge.shtml ....according to the folks at LR Baggs it will work with nylons and if the guitar sounds crap when it's done I could easily convert it to an electric

    Mafia

I can't wait until it comes out, and finally I'm going to see him live!!! I'm about to book tickets to see them at JB's in Dudley in May
  6. Sorry it's been a while since I replied, the nice people at BT messed up my phone line while they were replacing a telegraph pole in my street, so I've had no internet for a week anyway...I think I've found exactly what I'm looking for! I'm going to get rid of my 8 track and get Line 6 Rifftracker recording software, it has a built in drums from Drums on Demand which sound great and of course you can also download more drums, effects etc from the Line 6 site. Check it out... http://line6.com/rifftracker/ Anyone want an digital 8 track?
  7. I've still got some of these left, Marzocchi705, ToneMonkey let me know if you want one I'm happy to do a deal if someone want's more than one, just ask. I'll add some more pictures of them over the weekend.
  8. Thanks Dave I'll have a look into that Drumatic sounds like it's pretty simple, I've messed around with Fruity Loops before and found it very confusing I've been wondering about using a pc for recording and get rid of my 8 track, I downloaded a demo Guitar Tracks Pro and I've been getting some great results with that.
  9. I'm looking to get a new drum machine, my Zoom RT123 has finally died after 5 years of hard use (and countless repairs!) and the built in drum machine on my MRS 802 digital 8 track doesn't have enough usable sounds and it's a pain to program. I'll mainly be using it to record demo's for my Metal band so good sounding rock/metal kits is essential. Does anyone have any suggestions for one's to try out?
  10. There's a free cad of a Fender Jaguar at http://www.guitarbuild.com
  11. I've looked at DK Woodshop's ebay auctions and all of the Alder blanks are either green or only air dried for a few months, so unless you've got access to a kiln I'd look elsewhere
  12. I just saw a good deal and decided to buy them, I'll be keeping 2 or 3 for myself to use of course
  13. Ok I've had a few PM's about how much they are in dollars...according to http://www.xe.com/ucc/ the prices are..... £47 = $88 U.S. £47 = $107 Candian
  14. Sorry I should of made it more clear that the price is for 1 neck, not all 5!
  15. I've got some new old stock B.C. Rich BRONZE SERIES necks for sale, they all had some light marks and scratches on the rear of the necks when I got them so I've sanded the lacquer down to bare wood to remove the marks, so they will need lacquering. There is some light scratches on some of the headstocks and marks where the machinehead washers have been, there's also some very small chips on 1 or 2 of them. They'll are perfectly straight and of course there is no fret wear at all! 5 necks are availible at the moment for £35 each (+ £5 postage) I'm in the U.K. but I will post to the U.S. and Cananda (£12 postage) payment by Paypal or if you're in the UK I'll take a cheque or postal orders. I'll consider part exchange for wood, parts, whatever! just ask PM if you have any questions
  16. Ok bit of an update....I've chambered the body and glued the top on, I didn't go too mad with the chambering so it still feels reasonably heavy, although it will loose a bit more weight once the routing for the pre-amp is done. I'm thinking about using a Mighty Mite Les Paul neck unless I find something 2nd hand that takes my fancy. I'll try and take some pics over the weekend
  17. I'm building one at the moment, although I'll be using a normal classical bridge... http://projectguitar.ibforums.com/index.ph...opic=13014&st=0
