The fretboard is radius and ready for frets. This will have jescar EVO Gold. Adult this little jig a while back and it's really helped with radiusing. The jig itself screws directly to my table, with threaded inserts. Then I screw the neck to the jig also using threaded inserts in the jig. And beating your best was something I didn't think I'd ever see done. Wow. Like @Asdrael says, I love the way you've dyed the burl to go so well with the fretboard. From the back it looks like you made a stunning neck and then had to make a guitar to give it something to do. I cannot wait to see some finish on this. Those frets look ginormous though, wouldn't be my preference (and I am a bassplayer ), is that for a particular reason? Sustain maybe?
