PRSpoggers
So I finally after a week of waiting I got the wood I wanted to build a neck! I got Honduran Rosewood and White Limba. Both ring like a bell and I am drying them right now! This is the wood up close: https://imgur.com/gallery/6YyGxvP and this is my drying rack: https://imgur.com/gallery/E2FfDtN I am basically running a high powered fan on high and I have a dehumidifer going at medium and at 60% humidity. I am going to see how all this looks and I can't wait!
killemall8
I would support the thinner wood with something stiffer and flat. It will warp or twist if you dont.

Bizman62
Support while drying. I refer to the picture I posted into one of your previous posts: A solid level base, slats under and between your boards and another solid board on top with some weight added.

Not on the guitar. I mean how you have it in the drying rack. It needs to have either weight on it or be on a flat surface or it will twist and cup as it dries. curtisa
Does it need to be dried at all? If all youre trying to do is let the wood acclimatise to your work area normally you'd just set the wood aside in a flat state and let it sit for a few weeks. Fans, dehumidifier and racks seems a bit overkill.
