I had to draw it out several times on paper coz it was really doing my head in, but if the switch has been wired as a mirror image of what's shown above it will work back-to-front and have the middle position missing. Wire it up as per the diagram with no reversal of terminations and everything will be tickety-boo. And that has got it sorted. Thank you kind sir, you are a scholar and a gentleman. ScottR
I went out and took about a hundred or so pictures and saved these. These are probably too many.....but what the hell-- I like looking at it. SR
ScottR
Moving into the shadows........ ........sometimes made the reflections worse, or better--depending on how you look at it. I decided to play with them a little. SR

Prostheta
Agreed. It's especially educational when you start experimenting with your own profiles and tapers away from what is normally available. I now have my own neck specs for 5-strings which I swear by. Muzz
It looks fantastic Scott, beautiful work. What was the first song that you played on it?
Chris G
Great looking Guitar you have there Scott. I have been slacking on keeping up with other builds, but going to do better. I cant wait to have mine fully finished.
ScottR
Thanks Chris! Cheers Muzz! I'm not much of a player, so the first song I played on it is a little blues thing called Delta Child out of my practice book. I have a buddy that is in a band preparing to go out and support a new Outlaw Country cd release. He wanted to take it to a rehearsal to give it a test drive and show it off to his band mates. So it's first real song was an outlaw country thing that will be released next month. The reports I got were that was one bad ass guitar! Andyjr1515
Hi, Scott I've just read this thread again from the very beginning. A very well-deserved winner of the Guitar of the Month! There are some really impressive features on it and a considerable level of skill on show Congrats! Top job Andy
ScottR
Why thank you kind sir! That was a considerably shorter re-read than it might have been! I must say it is a joy to play. SR
