theodoropoulos Posted January 22, 2013 Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) I have a problem....I have a rosewood piece for tele body but it is 3cm thick....so i must add another 1.4-1.5 cm of wood....in order to have this tele....but...WHAT? 1 have ,basswood,maple,cherry,walnut,olive,..... what do you suggest??any other wood?? i want a sonic balance....so rosewood is warm....and if i add maple perhaps will it.....sound worse?? also....another thing...if i add it..it will be very unusual a tele with 1,5 top ...not arch top!!! would you suggest paint it all white??? i have in mind a BAROQUE concept in style... thank you in advance!! demonx Posted January 22, 2013 Report Share Posted January 22, 2013 Mycurrent GOTM entry is a tele with a thin rosewood cap over Mahogany - take a look at the pics and make your own mind up.
