piercefield
had a request from a friend to wood burn a photo of his late grandfather, on his late grandfathers guitar, to give to his father for fathers day this year... I tried to talk him out of it because it was a one shot deal.... Not to mention having to try and spot finish/blend it back in... He was extremely satisfied... Picture above is right before i polished it out... I was there when he gave it to his father... he got choked up and said "thats my daddy right there straight up and down" sigh of relief lol

piercefield
Yes this was done with my soldering iron... May do a lesson or two if there is interest... i have learned some do's and don't when it comes to finishing over a wood burning too... takes awhile to build up the laquer if you want the lines completely flush... and if you like the lines don't use compound its a pain to get out of the lines learned that the hard way....
