pauliemc
But you could always look into a blue - green burst. That's what what I thought when I saw it... "Pedulla" was the first word that came to mind: End of story I say. This kinda finish is gona look savage on that guitar. low end fuzz
well; thanks guys; good ideas; i'm going w/ blue; i was more concerned about a colour appropriate for the poplar, as opose to a colour scheme for the maple; it will be sanded back with some brown stain or dye; then done blue Q: when doing a sandback where the top colour will be be a dye; is it better to use stain or dye for the sandback colour? Bionic Dave
Black is the absence of color. Not ture. Black is the result of all colours mixxed together.
avengers63
If wood were a woman, would you dress her like an Amish girl? Or would you rather accentuate the beauty already there? To me, that is the difference between dye and paint. If all "wood" looked like this, then I'd agree with you 100% VOID-FREE REDWOOD LACE BURL Unfortunately, some "woods" just need to be painted because they're just not worth looking at. OK, you win, you made me laugh my ass off and throw up all at the same time. Not true. Black is the result of all colours mixed together. Well, not really 100% true, ...but true enough. You score too!

ScottR
I dream of growing a tache that good.. I worked in a grocery store during college. We had two--count them: two-- ladies that were customers that sported heavier beards and more hair curling over the top of their collars than I do even now thirty years later. Johnny Foreigner
one of the cleaners at my school when i was a kid had a full on tache stubble - like she clearly had to get the gillette out each morning and take off the growth. I reckon we need one, so everytime theres an argument on here we just send both parties to the "funnies" section. This lightened my day and i just got up! Xaromir
How the heck is that done? http://www.pedulla.com/assets/images/autog...GBSB-L-2008.jpg That is one of the coolest finishes i've seen so far. I should have become a bass player, they always get the unusual stuff...
