corsa2
Are you kiddin?? Now thats a really nice work man!! congrats!! i have a couple quick questions! How exactly have you done the top carving? and where did you got the fretboard birds from?
crow
Thank you! The carving of the roof was rather big work, I observed the original one punctually although I know that this will be even better. I carved it out with a chisel, nothing mechanical was help. The birds from here I ordered: http://www.sollerguitars.com/obchod/index_...php?kategori=11 Edited March 30, 2009 by crow

komodo
Your work is stunning. From the pictures, it looks like anyone would think this is a real PRS.

Mitch
Loving the inlays on the new one!!
Buter
Very nice work. I also love the inlays for the new guitar. My only thought is that if you do the inlay as you've shown (probably just for illustrative purposes) your lovely ladies will be upside down for anyone looking at the guitar as it is being played. Just a thought; again, nice work. Buter Edited March 31, 2009 by Buter
crow
Thank you! Yeah, I know. This is crude yet. Edited March 31, 2009 by crow
anderekel
One other thing I noticed with the fretboard mockup (just in case you didn't think about it) don't forget that the inlay can't go all the way to the slot, if you wanna see the whole inlay, the fretwire has a certain width. djhollowman
Am I the only one thinking that the lady inlays kinda cheapen an otherwise very classy looking build??? DJ

Macimalac
Üdvözöllek Székesfehérvárról! By the way, in the plan there is no volute drawn at the joining of the underside of the headstock and the neck. Are you planning to use one, or you feel that without it the neck is easier to play in the first position? Regards, Macimalac
