First Bass Completed!

Recommended Posts

I did have a thread ages ago, but i can't seem to find it so I thought I'd just make a new one.

After about a year of building on and off i finally got around to finishing my first bass.

It's Mahogany body, Seymour Duncan pickups, Gotoh hardware and a pre-made neck that I bought from luthierssupplies.com.au

The finish is just danish oil, didn't wanna risk anything too complicated.

Sorry that the pictures aren't great, but it's a toasty 41 degrees outside (think that's about 106 for you Americans) and I didn't feel like hanging around :D

It still needs a knob, and whats the easiest way to do a headstock logo?

And the easier way to do a headstock logo is to hire someone to do it for you. :D

Very nice, classy bass. Don't listen to dpm, get yourself some ink-jet printable water-slide decal computer paper (eg: crafty Computer paper dot co dot uk sells it) and print your own. Much easier and cheaper than hiring extra staff.
