ae3
Getting excited about this guitars completion! Almost as excited as I am for Christmas! Good call on the glow material, it'll really take it to the next level.
HuntinDoug
OK...after a couple days of "real work", my progress has slowed somewhat. I have the inlay done, and the neck fretted with Jescar EVO Gold Jumbo fretwire. I'm ready to do the inlay in the second neck. Then I will level & dress the frets on both necks. Here are updated pics: Nuke dot close up: http://www.parableguitars.com/ptnuke/ptnuke9.jpg

corsa2
Well Doug since its a LTD edition i think you should include This and maybe something like This in the case also!!
HuntinDoug
I already have picks for this run on order with Bert at In Tune Guitar Picks. I'm working on a matching hard case as well. Possibly a painted design on a black case.
WezV
i think it should be a clear fronted case with the striping round the edge and "incase of emergency break glass" emblazoned on the front... or something like that!
Bmth Builder
^ Thats would be damn cool!

You guy's are KILLING me! Actually, that's the best idea so far IMHO. Of course it will have to be a flight case....maybe diamond plate
Narcissism
or maybe a steel drum like case with "Parable Guitars" scorched into it and ooz... I really like that clear Emergancy case idea though!
ae3
Haahaha the work's piling up Doug, custom flight cases and everything excellent idea though. You could build an amp into a steel drum to go with the guitar, and have green ooze coming out of it Endless possiblilities!

HuntinDoug
Yea...Seeing the color under the melted cover makes a difference. Now I can get the paint mixed to match the yellow on the pup. I HOPE to be painting next week sometime.

HuntinDoug
OK... I'll ask since no one else is.... How much? Actually, I havent set pricing for these yet. Once I get these 2 prototypes done, then I can narrow down my cost, and set a price. I wont post the price here. But I will post when my website has been updated with info on these. It will have pricing at some point. Last night I finished the inlays on a distressed maple FB for these, just to see how it will look. It wasnt in the original plan, but my ziricote supplier is backordered, so I'm looking at other possible options. I'll have it fretted by Wed. I'll post pics to see what the "PG collective" thinks.
