devnull
Probably nobody remembers the Ovation Breadwinner from the 70's. This one is a custom maple body from Double X Custom Guitars, and a neck from ebay. I like the bent arrow headstock. We've been waiting for two years for it to tell us what color it wants to be. We'll wait two more if we have to. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=1859...p;id=1314714324

devnull
got to be a vintage white/creamy colour.... either that or a walnut brown!! We were drifting towards a green swirl on black, like those Ibanez's.
WezV
nah - keep it 70's.... although a lime green might work nice
avengers63
nah - keep it 70's.... although a lime green might work nice I thought about making a sarcastic suggestion of a bright lime green! That proves it: Great minds think alike. And so do we.

WezV
actually i was thinking of an old peavey t-60 that had a very fetching lime green body, a bit more convential looking than the ovation stuff but from a similar era and has a similar feel but now you say it, avocado might work
avengers63
DUDE! Avocado green would be PERFECT! Killer! It's just gotta have a pickguard & binding that's either cream or chocolate brown. OR OR OR... If you do a 70's theme, burned orange! YES!!!! Burned orange & avocado green. I have WAY too many memories flooding back right now. Dark, heavy cabinets, avocado green shag carpet, and burned orange & chocolate brown plaid pants. Wide World Of Sports is on the TV on the weekend with that intro of a skier wiping out. Mmmmmmmm.... good times.
