You can get ones that aren't behind the nut, but I think they are new old stock or something. I saw them on ebay, and they were going for about US$70 each, which is why I still don't have one. Though I'm watching a Vetta on ebay right now, and crossing my fingers that the price stays nice and low... I just wanted to jump in again and say that I suppose one of the benefits to a behind-the-nut locking nut is you have the option to shell out another $35 for a nice intonated nut too Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

xDrugFreeJonnyx Posted February 20, 2008 Report Share Posted February 20, 2008 I also keep allen holders on my headstock, i like it this way mainly because i have a lot of friends who like to try and mess with my tuning.. so when they come over i just remove the allens and it stays how i want it haha.
