trashman
does anyone know if using a locking nut on a guitar with a non locking trem is a good idea? or is it pointless.
mammoth guitars
It might be difficult to tune without fine tuners.
MoCaster
A locking nut with a trem that doesn't fine tuners would definitely be pointless. I would go with locking tuners instead.
WezV
the problem is that the locking nut tends to throw the guitar slightly out of tune as its tightened - without fine tuners you have no way to correct that. Locking tuners are a good alternative suggestion
