RMCIII
I just got my first Strat, 50 year anniversery, gold w/gold trim, really nice!! First thing I found out is the whammy makes the guitar go out of tune. I found a replacement tremelo bridge called Trem King. It comes in gold and from what I can tell from the web site, it looks like it might just solve the going out of tune problem. Does any body know about Trem King or where I might find any review on it?
GregP
Not much is known about them since they're brand-new. If you do a forum search, there was a recent thread about them, and if I remember correctly, the creator joined in for the conversation. If my memory is NOT correct, it was at least someone knowledgable. I think they look great. Greg
Primal
Wouldn't it be easier (and cheaper) to get a nice replacement nut (maybe even with ball bearings) and some locking tuners? If I recall correctly, most tuning problems with trems are the result of poorly cut/lubricated nuts.
westhemann
yes it was the trem king himself that joined in..very nice product really
ryema22
A hipshot tremsetter largely solved the problem for me, and I didn't have to alter any of the visible hardware on the guitar.
