brutas
I was wondering if a Rotoip would work for inlay routing. It does seem to have a lot of torque which could make controlling it hard. I just was wondering if I need to buy a Dremel or if someone has had good results using a Rotozip. Thanks for your help, Brodie
marksound
A Rotozip isn't necessarily hard to control, but I think it's a little huge for doing fine work. Seriously, I'd get a Dremel for that.
biliousfrog
at first glance I thought that someone was asking about using a zip for binding...I know, it's been a long day & my eye's are shot but it would be cool...or maybe not ...sorry, ignore me

pmarlin
I used this one and all the dremel accessories fit it.
Racer X
We use the RTXs at work, cause they have more power than a Dremel, and don't burn out as frequent. Pretty nice tool. I reccomend it.
pmarlin
And its cheaper.
GoodWood
How about rotozip for doing binding work, with a downdraft bit? How do you set the depth?

Thanks for your help, Brodie the new bocsh colt laminate trimmer is the ticket, small enough for detail work but has plenty of power much better than a dremel
GregP
I had a "SpinSaw" which is just like a rotozip... adjustable speed 'n stuff... piece of crap, as it turns out, but it still did a much better job with inlay than my genuine Dremel® did.
