Xanthus
Ooooooh, I agree, I really like that zebrawood, but I LOVE the snakewood picture you posted up top. The neck looks like, for lack of a better descriptive phrase, it just wants to beat you up. Very awesome! By the way, whose necks are those, the zebra and snake necks? Damn, you could start a jungle-themed guitar with those if you wanted, hahahaha

Desopolis
matt, I have a big piece of Zebra I was going to make a fretboard from, but I decided against it. its alittle over 1/4 thick, about 5" wide and decently long( I dont remember.. maybe 2 feet+) I dont see myself using it, definatly not for this project or one like it for a little while. Plus I allready ripped the one I needed from the original 1" board. heres the piece: your welcome to have it if you cover the shipping, I dont want to waste a nice piece, and figure you could use it. I figure your in the states or Canada so It shouldnt be that much. let me know..
Desopolis
oh and I saw your wanting walnut for the body. the local wood shop here has it for a bunch of different prices: http://www.northwestlumberco.com/domestic.php my guess is arround $16 for a 1" worth of walnut (16"x22") but I doubt its 16" wide, so you could allways get less and bookmatch it. if you wanted that and the Zebra I could send them together. it wouldnt be a big deal, because im going there soon to get another ebony fretboard. Desopolis
omg matt.. that **** was expensive as hell to ship.. UPS raped me anyway.. SO I cut it 26" and the rest, and used a bigass box.. went to USPS and it was $36 for just that one, and 28 for the other.. i was like f that.. went to UPS and it was 31 for one and i didnt even ask for the other. so I went home. cut it again and brought them up to UPS. then they charged me for a box 3x the size I needed(they said they could cut one) but I was like F-IT it needs to go. 49.99 USD to ship plus 11.76 USD for the damn box. I checked it last night Umm this is why I HATE UPS!!! its hear BUT the reason i never got it was because I got off work late last night and it was dark out side and I came in thru the side of the house, they just left it siting against the other side of the house no where near the door so it sat out over night in -12 COLD its very frozzzzzzen i did not know that they could do that just leave it there with out me signing for it and with it just siting outside like that it was easy pickings for someone to just walk off with it to spite UPS sucking the wood looks soooooo sexy man!! thanks I love it, work should start around payday !!METAL MATT!!
