ToneMonkey
I think there's room for one of those in my house. I like it, wouldn't want to play it though It one of things that I think I must own at least once in my life.

GregP
Wow. Can't believe there are 10 bids! Must resist the urge to state the obvious 6-string + 7 string on same guitar observation. Drat. Half too-late.

redwhiteandthemaple
What the.. 15.5? What's that body made of... Basswood?!?! It is pretty thin too.. 1 1/2" I wonder why he said "solid" w/ Quilted Maple Top... Instead of telling us what the body is...
Nitefly SA
becuase most people that would buy that guitar would be like "OOOOH 3 NECKS!!! and a quilted top!!!" and not notice that its made out of cork tree
RGGR
they always sell those on ebay with a buy it now of 700.00 pretty good deal for 3 guitars Yeah, but this one has 3 TOM bridges......if I would opt for instrument like that, I would put different type of hardware on the beast. Like the Vai's example.... one Hardtail, one Floyd and one 12 stringer. Although the combo's could be endless. Cool to look at, cool to own....not cool play. So that's why it would never make my collection. I want players, not beauty queens.
Nitefly SA
http://cgi.ebay.com/GALVESTON-DOUBLE-NECK-...1QQcmdZViewItem this one is much more appealing to me.
psw
Hmmm...don't quite see the point, though it might be good for a collection of different tunings. Vai's triple neck has a 12, floyd and fretless hardtail with sustainer...so although showy, does at leat do three specifically different things. Three is just a little too impractical, whatever the weight... pete
GregP
http://cgi.ebay.com/GALVESTON-DOUBLE-NECK-...1QQcmdZViewItem this one is much more appealing to me. I don't get it. The entire functionality of a 6-string is already built into a 7-string. Why would you need 2 separate necks? Greg
Nitefly SA
i mess sup alot when trying to play a 7 so maybe you use the 6 and jump up to the 7 only when you need to.

erikbojerik
Here is a much more practical triple, if you ask me. Check out the magnetic pickups hidden at the end of the fretboards, a very cool and well executed idea. http://www.andymanson.co.uk/jpj_archtop_triple.htm That must've been a follow-up to a well-known triple from JPJ's Zeppelin days. http://www.andymanson.co.uk/jpj_flat_top_triple.htm
Batfink
Hmmm....Hamer were making 5 and 7 neck guitars for Cheap Trick well over 20 years ago - didn't see the point then and i'm sure i don't see the point now apart from some strange kind of on stage willy waving jem
Daniel Sorbera
I'm not saying there aren't any good luthire in korea. Far from it. The reason for that comment was I thought that thing was made in a mass factory; and those arn't known for their quality.

The reason for that comment was I thought that thing was made in a mass factory; and those arn't known for their quality. Have you seen a Korean made guitar lately? I have 2 (Fender and Hamer) and the quality is on par with Japanese stuff, and better than some USA built guitars. It's ok though. I remember thinking in the mid 80s that Steve Vai had surely lost his mind when he signed on with Ibanez. I mean, come on. Japanese? Gimme a break. Looks like I was wrong.
