bcjim
A couple of weeks ago I finally decided to redo my warlock. I have seen alot of threads on here about people not liking warlocks or even any B.C. Rich for that matter. But anyway, I thought I'd post some of my progress pictures anyway. I started repainting it because when I got it it was banged up pretty bad on the horn tips (typical of pointy guitars) but it is all good now. It started out as black, but I wanted something different. It is going to be a red pearl metallic. The neck was unfinished but that will change too. I'll post more pics when progress increases. pics here http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/bcjim/body1.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/bcjim/body2.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/bcjim/body3.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/bcjim/headstock1.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y95/bcjim/neck1.jpg Edited February 2, 2006 by bcjim

croaticum
SweeT I have BCR Warlock too but its still new and shiny and......... I have sugestion on painting: Maybe you should leave it white and do spiderweb graphic on the body. But thats just my imagination going wild, i tend to do that sometimes Anyways great axe you got there and as i see great wood too. Is that Pro series or something else? TeiscosRock
is painting the nack heal and pocket a good idea though. Not the greatest idea. Neck pockets are normally given some slack because of the finish on the neck, but finish on the neck + finish in the pocket might be too much. croaticum
I think he masked it with tape?!
bcjim
I think he masked it with tape?! Yes the pickup cavities and the neck pocket are all masked off with painters tape. It is a NJ Series
deadmike
you shouldnt have any quams about posting this baby up, a repaint is a repaint regardless of what brand of guitar. the warlock is an intresting shape, ive always wanted to see one with just a simple stylised white border round those pointy edges. i really think that would make it just stand out. Lord-of-the-strings
Sorry about that. It is working now. If you look closely, you can see that the neck pocket is indeed covered, the tape is just painted over
