bigdguitars
This one is for me. Its finished in nitro getting ready for buff. please don't ask how to get this color its about 10-15 different tries... This piece was 3/8 thick when I started now its about 1/4. Go look up Myka Guitars this is where I learned. Its Yellow on the outside, orange, brown, then red in the middle. Its like painting with Water colors, as David has said, it takes a lot of practice this is about my 10th guitar that has played with this technique, I think its close to what I want... I am going to make a custom flame neck with a snake wood board, have not started that yet. The others are waiting for me to get to them... Other pics of stuff.... http://www.bigdguitars.com/images/x.jpg http://www.bigdguitars.com/images/IMG_1517.JPG http://www.bigdguitars.com/images/IMG_1518.JPG http://www.bigdguitars.com/images/IMG_1516.JPG

piedpiperX2000
Awesome, awesome color. I've seen similar finishes, speaking of tigereye, that when the sun hits it the yellow comes out really really strong, but in the dark the colors are dark brown and orange. *ponders* Excellent job I'm freakin jealous
SamIAmUBUF
I've never really like green guitars, but I'm sold. they all look great.
GregP
That crazy non-bookmatched green one is fascinating. I'm so used to seeing bookmatched pieces that the grain pattern looks so foreign and weird! Keep up the work!
