Cerb
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...Y_BID_Stores_IT ... And it's all mine. So does anyone know how well redwood would work for a full body. Would it be better to cut it into top sets? Any other ideas? I have a particular bass design that this would be perfect for. erikbojerik
Redwood is light & soft. It looks nice, but I would never use it for a bass body unless you were gluing wings onto a very strong neck-thu blank. I've seen it used as tops on acoustic guitars, where you need to get some vibration going.
Cerb
I had Larry Davis of GalleryHardwoods.com resaw it for me, and he did an excellent job. He was able to get three 3/8" pieces and a 1/4" piece. Here are a few pictures he took before shipping them off to me. blakeish
I really like that grain pattern, wow. It's gorgeous! Good luck, on whatever you decide to do with it
