Daniel Sorbera
Sweetness. It sounds killer! I'm a little busy now but tomorow I'll try and come up with a good headstock design to go with that sick body.
drinkchoglit
before i start i just wanna say that the Impaler is one of the coolest body desgins i've seen. but any way, i thought i'd try to help out a little with the headstock design. i keep a file in the program htat i like to use to draw stuff in (macromedia flash) just as a doodle pad basicly, and sometimes things that look like they'd make cool guitar bodies or head stocks pop up. here are all the ones i had on the page that didn't belong to any particular body, but i'm not sure if any of them but the middle one would actually work as a functional headstock
xlr8
27" scale with a 27 fret neck?

Haggard Cky
the only problem i see with those headstocks is u might hit your hands on the "horns" that are at the bottom. besides that they r pretty badass.

xebryusguitars
GOD DAM*....haha it seems like the thing you're being taught is preperation is definitely key. What type of prep work (planning out like on graph paper or something) did you guys do?
Hughes
im guessing your bat inlays are going in that impaler...also what kinda of body wood you getting? for a color scheme i think you should go black with red bevels such as this http://namm.harmony-central.com/WNAMM04/Co...PR/Virgo-sm.jpg maybe not even flat paints but see through dyes Edited August 22, 2005 by Hughes
jer7440
I would guess the bat inlay will be at the end of the fretboard, so it lines up with that sweet shape you have cut on there.
deadmike
that is exactly the kind of neck my next guitar could use!
