weezerboy
why hello theeeere ladies ok, so as the ebay auction is over and i won, i ask of you guitargeeks, what on christs green earth is this: any 'hilarious' replies of "a guitar" will result in me killing fourteen puppies every hour with a rubber mallet until a suitable answer arrives
westhemann
it looks like a mutt...the pickgaurd in no way even looks like it was intended for that guitar
sepultura999
looks like a teisco, or kent. something 60s, japanese, and most likely particle board.

Devon Headen
+1 for teisco. It's similar to some Burns guitars, too, just cheaper looking.
weezerboy
now the next step is: someone find a photo of another one to back this up
Southpa
The guitar is a "Norma" , single pickup. Have a look here, scroll down a bit and you will find a 2 pickup Norma (black to red burst)w/ same body, headstock and pickguard shape. marksound
Contact the guy at myrareguitars.com and ask him. ← Dan Forte (aka Teisco Del Rey) used to write a column for Guitar Player called Cheap Thrills and Pawnshop Prizes. He covered everything weird. You can probably contact him through Vintage Guitar these days.

tirapop
Silvertone!!!! My best friend has one exactly the same lol Its an offshoot of Danelectro. Made for sears in the 60-70's ← Silvertone was the brand sold at Sears. For a while Danelectro supplied guitars, as did Teisco, Kay, Harmony, and National.
