Absynthed Posted May 8, 2005 Report Share Posted May 8, 2005 hey, i was wondering since the tutorials dont make it very clear, what you have to do if you only want to do one inlay.in my case on the 5th fret. also i've read the pyramid 3d inaly where something is put into the cut shape, then covered with epoxy. would i be able to do this with a razorblade? or is it too thick? just completely wouldnt work? duo2 Posted May 8, 2005 Report Share Posted May 8, 2005 In theory it could work but it seems to me that you would have to route out a lot of fingerboard wood. You would probably run the risk of going through the fingerbord but it seems like a really awsome idea. If you've got an extra fingerboard i would give it a go.
