jer7440
This guy has had a ton of maple on ebay lately and I wondered if anyone has dealt with him? Was his wood of good quality?
GuitarMaestro
Ok "this guy" you say? There are not few people matching that criteria on ebay....hehe
ooten2
I've wondered about his maple, too. His prices are good, but his photos are so dark it's hard to see the wood.

ooten2
I just received a 1/4" BM top of flame maple from Burl.quilt. For the $16 plus shipping that I paid, I got a good quality piece of wood with decent flame. There are some darker blotchy spots in the figure in a couple of places, and that's probably what takes the price down some. The advertised dimensions are right on. The line for the BM will need some jointing, but the planing looks reasonably even. He was quick to respond to emails, and very quick in shipping. It's no eye-popping figure like you see with someone like durawoods, but it's not as expensive either. If you're watching your $$ and need some decent maple, give him a try. I had a very good buying experience, and wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again. Add another positive feedback to his ebay record.
jer7440
Cool. Thanks ooten2 for the review. I'll have to keep watchin' the bay for him to have some more pieces. Now that I have some money, he doesn't have any listings.
