Guest Filthy McNastie
I am about to attempt to re-finish a Fender Tele and was wondering if I needed to sand it all the way to the wood...or... Since I am going to be painting it a solid color might it be ok to rough the finish up that's on it now and then just paint over that. I've done 2 other guitars in the last couple of months, both of them I pianted solid colors...both of them I took all the way to the wood and it just struck me that I may not have to do that. Anyhoo...i'm a noob to this board...I've read around some and it seems like a GREAT forum so I figured I could definitely get a pro opinion here...Thanks in advance! L8.
