JFC Posted February 6, 2005 Report Share Posted February 6, 2005 Yup, another one done Info: Alder body with a light flamed maple top, Maple/bubinga/maple neck, Ibanez Edge, Rio Grande BBQ bridge pickup ibanez V7 Neck pickup. How thick was your top?? ← the top was about 2 cm thick, the binding covers 2/3 of whats left of the top. I can't wait to finish mine, it will be about the same style, a bit more PRSish than yours, but with a AANJ too. I like your neck, but I would loved to see a volute there, but the joint turn out amazing. Why didn't you did a natural binding? On that top, the figure is right on the edge, it would have look killer. And I love the way that you glued the top to the body, I have to leave mine at the wood shop since I got no big clamps, but you have gave me a great idea for the next time.
